Bye April Hello May
In few hours the month of April will be over and we will be welcoming the month of May. Aside from the month of December I would say that the month of May is also one of the celebrated months in the country. With a lot of festivities happening each day in this time of the year such as Santa Cruzan, Flores de Mayo, fiestas, reunions and school alumni. Who will not agree if I say that May is indeed celebrated in a prolific way. I don’t know of a place/country that have the same celebration as what we have here in the Philippines.
For Santa Cruzan- there is a daily novena in honored of the holy season. Same goes with the fiesta, a nice day novena is offered to the patron saints. As for the Flores de Mayo, the children are trained how to pray the rosary. At the end of the month the children will receive school supplies as a reward for attending the daily. The children usually received school supplies.
Of course, a lot of mouth watering foods are being served in the last day of the novena.
Oh! may I just add something before I publish this post. In connection of the Flores de Mayo, a Sagala is being held at the end of the month. One of the festivity that tourist from outside the country or even local tourist would love to witness.
Halo-Halo Best Summer Refreshment..

Halo-halo (from Tagalog word halò, “mix”) is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice and evaporated milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served in a tall glass or bowl.
A week ago, I was in the city to run errands. It is officially summer here in my other part of the world, so I am not surprised that halo-halo is one of the best seller refreshment this time of the year. As I have mentioned, I was at the city a week ago, I manage to have two different kinds of halo-halo in just one day. I blame it to hot weather that although I am coughing and I have sore throat it doesn’t stop me from ordering this refreshment twice, during lunch and snack time.

On Travel
The boyfriend is on trip outside his country. I have mentioned in my other blog that the boyfriend is in to fish export before he sold his fish factory few years ago. The new owner of his business who happened to be his friend usually asks his help in running the business. If I remember it right it is in their agreement to help the new management just in case they need the expertise of my boyfriend that is why he is on trip for a month.
It’s been two weeks since flew to Greenland. The last time a saw him on cam is a day before his flight. I honestly miss him, the phone calls and sms is certainly not enough to ease missing him. Oh well, in two weeks time he is going back to his country and I will see him again in a regular basis.
Tiring Wednesday
Truly, roaming around is a tiring thing to do. I was in the mall today to pick up the money that the boyfriend wired last Monday. I am supposed to pick it up yesterday but I was lazy to go somewhere so I just up to do it today. Anyway, after I picked up the money I decided to go downtown to roam around as I am searching something for the little one and nephew.
On the other hand, I still have few photos to share here but I laziness is striking again. I am not in the mood to edit the pictures, hopefully I can tomorrow. This blog certainly need some attention. Speaking about attention, I am praying that I will grasp the attention of the Direct Advertiser want to advertise here. I am still waiting for his reply, hopefully this blog pass his requirement.
